Cross the dunes to arrive at the main stunning sandy beach, just one of three within easy access of the village. A great location for surfing, sunbathing or searching for shrimp.

​

In peak season you will find stalls selling coffee, ice-cream and jewellery at the beach head.

Trevose Golf Club – has casual dress code rules, so have a look at them here before you go: https://trevose-gc.co.uk/notes-of-guidance/ There is a relaxed bar where they sell pizzas and bar food: https://trevose-gc.co.uk/dining/ You can also order the pizza as takeaways. Has a great view from the bar and restaurant so is a beautiful place to watch the sun set.

 

Trevone Bar “Bruno’s” PL28 8QY: is 4 miles away. Nearly on the beach, has a lovely outside bar area with DJ’s and a small inside dining area which is a lovely café during the day, and serves great pizzas at night. There’s also a small surf store there.

The Farmers Arms, St Merryn: Winner of Trip Advisor 2023 Certificate of Excellence Award and the 2021 Travelers Choice Award.

The Cornish Arms, Churchtown, PL28 8ND: Rick Stein’s infamous pub; smart/casual restaurant that you will need to book in advance or casual bar with lots of outdoor seating for beers and pizzas. https://rickstein.com/restaurants/the-cornish-arms/

A lovely vibe in the winter to go for an afternoon pint and to watch sport with the locals. Dog friendly.

 

The Dog House Watering Hole: Operates as a quiet bar and pizzeria with two covered outside seating areas. You can find it just off the cross-roads of St. Merryn, in good company with other drinking and eating establishments. https://www.thedoghousewateringhole.co.uk/

 

The Pig at Harlyn: https://www.thepighotel.com/at-harlyn-bay/  For something a bit more high end then this place is lovely. One of Cornwall’s most historic houses dating back to the 15th century, it has far-reaching sea views, oodles of quirks and character with stacks of original features. Just a short stroll from Harlyn beach and Constantine Bay beaches, The Pig has a lovely restaurant and treatment rooms if you need a treat!

Constantine Stores – turn right at the end of the estates road and its 200 yards up the road.

St Merryn Stores – In the heart of St Merryn. Be sure to visit the fridge in the back!

Malcolm Barnecut – Bakery St Merryn (also sell their pasties at Constantine Bay Café and Constantine Stores).

 

Tesco - in Padstow is smaller but closer than Wadebridge.

Dentist - Padstow Dental Practice 3 miles away

Nearest Train Station - Newquay Station 8 miles away.

Cash Machine - St Merryn or Tesco in Padstow.

Villa-Nelle is located in Constantine Bay, home to stunning beaches in beautiful North Cornwall.
